If I was the boss

No person is perfect and therefore no boss will be perfect, but if I were the boss I would strive for perfection. Perfection in my skill as a leader and my team.

A boss should not only think of himself or herself, but should constantly have the teams needs in mind also. The team looks up to the boss and the boss creates what kind of environment the workplace becomes. If the team is unhappy with the environment they're working in, the bosses main aim should be to keep the team happy so that they can be productive.

Many bosses don't realise that their staff's happiness and the businesses productivity have a lot to do with one another. If your staff is happy, they will be productive.

If I were the boss I'd make it my mission to keep everyone happy and be friendly, helpful and show my staff that I care about their needs as much as those of the business.

  1. I agree that a caring working environment created by management can lead to increased productivity, reduction in absenteeism and harmony within the workplace.
